Das Jugendgästehaus Gütersloh, wo schon einige frühere Mini-Filk-Cons stattgefunden haben, ist diesmal unser Conort. Damit ihr wisst, was dort auf euch zukommt, hier einige Vorzüge dieses Hauses.

Wo befindet sich das Jugengästehaus:
Das JGH befindet sich am südwestlichen Rand der Innenstadt von Gütersloh, in einer parkähnlichen Anlage am Ufer der Dalke; in der Nähe der Bundesstraße 61, falls ihr mit dem Auto kommt.

Per Auto: Autobahn A2, Abfahrt Rheda-Wiedenbrück/Gütersloh Süd in Richtung Hannover
oder Abfahrt Gütersloh/Verl in Richtung Dortmund
Per Bahn: Bahnstation Gütersloh, Hauptbahnhof an der Strecke Berlin-Köln, von dort aus weiter mit dem Bus oder per Shutttleservice.
Mit dem Flugzeug:
Flughafen Hannover, von dort mit der Bahn Richtung Köln/Düsseldorf bis Bielefeld (dort umsteigen in den Regionalverkehr) oder direkt nach Hauptbahnhof Gütersloh
Flughafen Düsseldorf, von dort mit der bahn Richtung Hannover/Berlin bis Bielefeld (dort umsteigen in den Regionalverkehr) oder direkt nach Hauptbahnhof Gütersloh
Per Rad: Radwanderweg R1 von der Holländischen Grenze nach Höxter

Die Ausstattung:

67 Betten (1 Einbettzimmer, 18 Zweibettzimmer, 5 Mehrbettzimmer)
Alle Zimmer haben Dusche und WC!

Außerdem gibt es:
- 4 Arbeits- und Tagungsräume für 16 bis 100 Personen
- 3 Freizeiträume (Tischtennisraum, Bar usw.)
- eine große Rasenfläche und einen Kinderspielplatz direkt am Haus
- eine Schwimmhalle nicht weit von der JH entfernt (knapp 10 min Fußweg)
- einen seperaten Speiseraum

Das JGH ist behindertengerecht ausgestattet. 

Youth Hostel Guetersloh

This time our Convention will be at the Youthhostel (JGH) Gütersloh, where other Mini-Filk-Cons took place before. Here some merits of the house so that you'll know what to expect.

Where do you find the Youthhostel?
The Jugendgästehaus (JGH) is placed at the south-west edge of the town centre of Gütersloh, in a kind of park on the banks of the Dalke; not far from the Bundesstraße 61 (major road B 61) - if you're coming by car.

By car:
Autobahn A2, exit Rheda-Wiedenbrück/Gütersloh Süd towards Hannover or exit Gütersloh/Verl towards Dortmund.
By train:
Hauptbahnhof Gütersloh (Railway station Gütersloh, central station at the line Berlin-Köln), and from there take the bus or use the shuttle service.
By plane:
Airport Hannover - then take a train towards Köln/Düsseldorf until Bielefeld and then change to the regional rail connection; or take a train directly to Hauptbahnhof Gütersloh.
Airport Düsseldorf - then by train towards Hannover/Berlin until Bielefeld and then change to the regional rail connection; or take a train directly to Hauptbahnhof Gütersloh.
By bike:
Radwanderweg R1 (cycle track R1) from the Dutch border to Höxter.

The Jugendgästehaus - furnishings etc

- 67 beds ( 1 single room, 18 twin bed rooms, 5 rooms with several beds)
All rooms have a shower and a toilet

Furthermore there are:

- 4 work and conference rooms for 16 to 100 persons
- 3 hobby rooms (a table tennis room, a bar, etc)
- a wide lawn and a children's playground directly at the house
- an indoor swimming pool not far from the JGH (approx. a 10 minutes walk)
- an extra dining room

The youthhostel is suitable for the handicapped.
