Many of you already know her - she has been at a FilkCONtinental before, many many years ago, as a regular member. And also the British con has seen her several times.
Kathy Mar from sunny California; who invented the filk dandelion, who cooks the most yummy lasagna, who does not go to bed on a Saturday night but filks on to Sunday morning breakfast time ... Kathy, who is an absolute inherent part of filk fandom!
She wrote many wonderful songs that are considered filk classics, has contributed songs on numerous filk compliation tapes or CDs and has just completed her 2009 convention marathon to spread filk even wider in the fannish community.
